Curbed Cup Finals: (9) Logan Square vs. (15) Bridgeport

New, 11 comments

And now, the moment we have all been waiting for — the final neighborhood match for this year's Curbed Cup. After two and a half weeks of voting, Logan Square and Bridgeport have made it all the way to the very end to face each other for the victory and glory of being dubbed the greatest neighborhood in Chicago. Sixteen neighborhoods competed for the cup, and despite the noble efforts from many of them, only one can become the victor. In two of its three matches, Logan Square trailed in votes for the majority of the 24 hour voting period only to come out and pull a dramatic last minute victory against Andersonville and Uptown. Since the very beginning, Bridgeport came out the gates swinging, and has not faltered once. The proud South Side neighborhood has defeated Chicago heavyweights Lakeview, Albany Park and the South Loop, and is now looking to end Logan Square's run for the Curbed Cup. Since this is the most important match in the entire tournament, polls will be open until noon, January 2. And as always — may the best neighborhood win!
