The Chicago Reader's John Greenfield helped solve the mystery of the mural on the side of 300 South Wacker, a public art conundrum that also piqued Curbed's interest, and discovered the price tag. Building owners Beacon Capital commissioned South Water Sign to create the map of the surrounding neighborhood, which includes a backlit red building symbolizing the skyscraper.
