New, 3 comments

Last weekend, the ice skating ribbon at Maggie Daley Park opened to much fanfare. Chicagoans were able to rent a pair of skates and christen the ribbon's ice for the first time. However, this video offers those who skipped out on the crowds last weekend a chance to see what it's like to skate around the brand new ribbon. There's twists, turns and of course, folks with wobbly legs trying their best not to completely crash out. The video also offers an idea of what the surrounding park space looks like, however don't judge it just yet. According to the park's landscape architect, there's still more to come.
