Michelin-Starred Restaurant Closing; Castle Closing Too; More

LAKEVIEW—Is there an end in sight to the rash of Michelin-starred restaurant closings? Senza, the gluten-free standout on Broadway, is the latest, which will close on January 17. L20, Graham Elliot, and Takashi closed or are about to as well.

RIVER NORTH—Castle, the quad-level castle-esque nightclub on Dearborn, will close around the first of the year. Look for something newsworthy to come to the 25-year-old former Excalibur space soon.

SOUTH LOOP—In perhaps the most ironic restaurant fire to date, The Chicago Firehouse was engulfed in flames this week.
