The Upcoming Riverwalk Extension Gets a Paved Walkway

New, 2 comments

The raising of the 606's new Milwaukee Avenue arches last weekend was certainly a cause for excitement, however the Chicago Riverwalk has also recently made some progress worth celebrating. The Riverwalk which has been under construction for most of this year is actually starting to look like a real riverwalk, thanks to the paved walkway it has recently received. And similar to the other major public works projects underway in Chicago, the Riverwalk has had to endure its share of terrible weather and unexpected fiascos over the last 12 months. However, the workers keep on keeping on in order to get sections of the extension completed in time for us to enjoy them when the weather warms up next year.
