And you thought all the bodies in Chicago waterways were hidden in the river? Navy Pier has been the scene of zombie D-Day during the last week after the corpse cargo of the Zombie Containment, a haunted barge that partially sank due to high winds and rough waters on Halloween, began washing ashore. According to owner John LaFlamboy, the floating haunted house cost "hundreds of thousands of dollars," and only a handful of the 50 zombies have been recovered on shore or by divers. No word if, according to local legend and Chicago political rumor, the undead were merely trying to reach their polling place on Tuesday.
