LG Development, who has been staying busy with new apartment projects in Wicker Park, is facing a large chorus of voices that oppose its plan to bring a new apartment project to the West Loop, DNAinfo reports. The development includes 205 apartment units and 144 parking spaces in the form of a wild tiered contemporary structure. The West Loop is booming with new development activity, but the neighborhood is known for its many community organizations that have a hand in the public feedback process that can put the brakes on proposed developments. An inquiry to LG Development regarding the architect of the development and additional renderings has not been returned.
