Spacious Timber Loft in Historic Donohue Building Asks $479K

Here's a large 1,750 square foot two bedroom, two bathroom timber loft in the landmark Donohue Building that can be yours for well under half a million bucks. Located in Printer's Row, the Donohue Building is famous for being the first factory in the city to be converted to loft condominiums back in 1979. Originally built in 1883 by Julius Speyer, the old building paved the way for the industrial-to-residential conversions that have given new life to neighborhoods like the South Loop and West Loop. And while a very similar unit listed in September to much fanfare, this unit is actually larger and cheaper.
