Chicago's 2015 Michelin Stars; Takashi Closing; More

This week's top dish from Eater Chicago, Curbed's restaurant, bar, and nightlife blog...

AROUND TOWN—It's the time of year for the tire guy to release perhaps the highest honor in Chicago dining— the Michelin stars. Curtis Duffy's Grace is this year's headliner after ascending to the ultimate three-star level, while Uptown BYO tasting menu spot 42 Grams made a splash with a rare two-star debut. Don't miss this interview with the Michelin Guide director.

BUCKTOWN—Two days after the stars were revealed a Michelin-starred restaurant, Takashi, announced it's closing on New Year's Eve. Takashi joins L20 (also closing Dec. 31) and Graham Elliot (closed last New Year's Eve) as recent starred restaurants to shutter.

WEST LOOP/LINCOLN PARK/LAKEVIEW—The peri peri chicken is coming, as uber popular worldwide chain Nando's Peri Peri announced this week that it's opening three locations in town. It operates more than 1000 locations worldwide.
