Curbed Interviews

While photographing a new bridge in Abu Dhabi, Allan Crow, whose studio won this year's "Photographer of the Year" award, risked a "certain-death fall," having climbed the concrete plinths to get the perfect vantage point. "It's a great image, but I sort of wish I hadn't done it. I've got a wife and kids. I was alone. Nobody knew I was there, and I didn't have a harness." Curbed National recently interviewed Crow about this and other crazy things he's done get the shot. Rusty cranes, rickety buildings, and more, right this way. [Curbed National]
