This Ivy-Covered Vintage Home is Awesomely Eccentric

New, 1 comment

With ivy-covered homes, you just never know what you're going to get. You may get one of the most expensive homes in Chicago, or you may get a whimsical plant-filled pad. Either way, the city doesn't seem to have a shortage of ivy-plastered homes. On the other hand though, this home is almost magical on the inside. It's super eccentric, but it has some qualities of a home from a children's novel. Think Apartment Therapy, but with a James and the Giant Peach twist. According to the listing, the home was once a machine shop but has been converted to a single family home. This three bed, three bath home can be had for $1.299 million.
