How does Chicago managed to screw up fire? WE PUT FIRE ON THE FREAKING MAP. LITERALLY. #chicagofirefestival

By now, you may have heard that the first ever Great Chicago Fire Festival was, well, maybe not as great as hoped. The city and Redmoon Theater had hyped the event for weeks, and even described it as Chicago's next big thing, but the event was plagued by bad weather, delays and technical issues, and left many of the 30,000 attendees disappointed. The festival has since been panned by some in the press, and left many wondering whether or not there will ever be another one. However, according to new reports, the festival's organizers plan on giving it another shot.
though ending was disappointing, #chicagofirefestival was 6 mnths of ed & arts programming throughout the city, not just a 6-min sorta-fire.

LoadingDespite the technical difficulties, #ChiFireFest was pretty cool. This fleeting moment where house #2 almost turned into a roaring fire gave me hope that next year's event will be a roaring success. Thanks to @choosechicago & @trumpchicago for making this vantage possible. Check the link in my profile for more photos from last night
