Come Take a Tour of the West Loop's Catalyst Apartments

New, 5 comments

The Catalyst had its official grand opening party last night, but we were able to sneak in before and get a first look at the 19 story apartment tower. The building wrapped up this summer and saw its first move-ins late June, and is now about 60% occupied. Originally planned to be a loud, brightly colored building, the final product has a much more subdued look, or as Catalyst reps and their marketing material prefer to call it, a "zen" vibe. The project delivers 223 total units wrapped in a Brininstool + Lynch designed tower, and features a number of luxury amenities including an outdoor rooftop pool and a large outdoor dog run and "zen" garden. Rents start around $2,000 per month for available convertibles and go up to nearly $4,500 for a three bed, three bath unit. As the West Loop's residential and office markets continue to be fire hot, the Catalyst's timing may be very rewarding for developer Marquette Companies. But enough with the chit-chat, let's begin the tour.
