Grocery Shoppers Rejoice: Five More Dominick's Reopening

New, 22 comments

Hurray for Chicagoland grocery shoppers! Five more Dominick's stores will soon be reopening. Logan Square based Tony's Finer Foods has purchased the former Lincoln Square Dominick's and will reopen the store this spring. Caputo & Sons has acquired four former Dominick's sites in the suburbs, including the stores in Des Plaines, Elk Grove, Arlington Heights and Northbrook. The Des Plaines store will open by the end of the year, but the remaining three should be up and running by April. According to Curbed math, there are still 52 remaining stores of the original 72 closed locations looking for a new tenant. Looks like the Mayor's task force will be staying busy.
