Once billed as the fastest growing company of all time, Chicago's daily deal site Groupon has had its share of ups and downs in the last couple of years. Former CEO and so called Enfant Terrible Andrew Mason was let go last February after repeated failures to make the company profitable. Before leaving his helm as captain of River North's coupon factory, he participated in the company's remodeling of its headquarters in the old Montgomery Ward Company Complex at 600 W. Chicago.

Groupon's 360,000 square foot office is home to nearly 2,500 employees and features some unusual amenities including a tiki bar, an "Enchanted Forest" and its cat mascot piloting a flying saucer. The building is also the home of current Groupon CEO Eric Lefkofsky's startup incubator Lightbank and its growing collection of companies.
