LOOP—With The Boarding House now open for more than a year, former Check,Please! host Alpana Singh has signed a lease on Michigan Avenue for a second project. The space is across the street from the Art Institute and Millennium Park; check Eater for more details soon.
RIVER NORTH—Chef Giuseppe Tentori and the Boka Restaurant Group are planning a meat version of the popular GT Fish & Oyster nearby the original Wells Street location. GT Prime is slated to open by early fall.
LINCOLN PARK—Juno, Jason Chan and B.K. Park's Japanese spot on Lincoln Avenue, has had quite a run since opening in late May. That run is now in jeopardy, as the building was hit by a fire early Friday morning.
