A development plot on the Pilsen/University Village border has listed for sale years after a 400-unit condo proposal was first pitched for the site lying beside rail yards and University Commons. A venture of Keith Giles is selling the land, which may present an opening for another developer to seize on an existing scheme rendered by FitzGerald Associates for 216 apartments directed at the area's wealth of students and hospital staff.
