The former Mulligan Elementary School at 1855 N Sheffield, shuttered as a CPS school in 1991 and closed to all uses since 2003, has found a buyer in local firm Svigos Development. CPS has been trying to unload 26 properties (not counting the 50 recently closed schools) and has opened the bidding to charter schools. One unit will even occupy the 3,000-square-foot gymnasium. [Crain's, previously]
