The Neighborhoods

"Streeterville: The Play" is about to land in Streeterville the neighborhood for the first time. The historical drama portrays sailor-cum-neighborhood developer Cap Streeter and his personal relationships and moral duplicity. Considered by some to be a legendary fraud, cheat and even a murderer, it's hard to cast a glowing light, and, thankfully, that's not the tack taken by the 12-year-old script. The play has two set stagings, Sept. 22 & 28, with a Navy Pier reception offering a chance for community debate. [DNAinfo]
