Fall Out Boy Guitarist Lists his Southport Pad for $869,000

New, 5 comments

If there's a better way to get a peek into the homes of the rich and famous than MTV's venerable small-screen masterpiece Cribs, we certainly can't think of it. And while Fall Out Boy guitarist Joe Trohman's Lincoln Park abode was missing the 26-car garage some Cribs subjects have boasted (we're looking at you, G Unit) when it appeared on the program in 2007, the gut-renovated townhouse, which listed yesterday for $869,000 still has plenty of rock n roll style to offer.
The three-story condo in LP's Embassy Club townhouse community comes with a chef's kitchen (SubZero, Bosch dishwasher, wine fridge, etc.), walk-out deck, two fireplaces, spa-like master bath with steam shower and self-closing bucket toilet, attached garage, and Asian-influenced landscaped yard (though the pond that appears in the Cribs tour looks to be, unfortunately, filled in).

The place last sold in 2006 (presumably to Trohman) for $685,000.

A furnished option is also available, according to the listing. We hope that means the lucky buyer will have his or her own set of futuristic-looking egg chairs, a toy figurine and guitar collection, and quirky Frankenberry artwork to come home to, but that remains to be seen.
