Wolf Point landowner Chris Kennedy wasn't fibbing when he told Crain's last week that, despite litigation against the first of three towers, "the city continues to give us permits." Yesterday, in fact, Kennedy and the development team were given a permit to begin constructing caissons for the bKL-designed 507-unit western tower—smallest of the planned trio but still a healthy 525 feet. Cries of improper review and permitting (with a booster shot of NIMBYism) have slowed the project, approved in January and initially slated to break ground July 31. Stay tuned!
