A city commission, appointed by the mayor, will decide the fate of nearly 50 newly closed schools. Already ideas are pouring in but possibilities are "somewhat limited", commission chair Wilbur Milhouse told the Sun-Times. He added that none of the schools will remain vacant, of course there's no telling how long a "hibernation phase" can drag on.
