The University of Chicago's immense "Special Collection" photo archives are robbing WBEZ's Lee Bey of needed shuteye. Much of the collection documents the University itself in the middle of the last century, but a large number of shots venture into the tumult of surrounding neighborhoods as they coped with crime, decay, and urban renewal (not much has changed, eh?).
