It's no big secret Loyola is on a building spree. The evidence is all around, at both city campuses: the now-underway Quinlan School of Business; the nearly-finished Institute of Environmental Sustainability; an upcoming medical research facility; and tangential housing projects. The school has hit the $500M mark in construction spending since 2008 with much more on the way. That's how schools are expected to compete, and Loyola is working hard to muscle its way up the national rankings. [Crain's, previously, rendering: Quinlan School of Business]
