The high end of Chicagoland's real estate market is white hot and Chicago Mag's Dennis Rodkin has the MLS stats to prove it. According to Midwest Real Estate Data LLC (the region's MLS), 709 area homes have sold for more than $1M through June. That's 35.8% more than sold in the first six months of 2012. We tend to shine a light on the serious whoppers, outliers, and the odd property that seems to be reaching for seven figures. Many of the homes sold don't register as anything terribly special, beyond being large and well-appointed. Rodkin highlights a few. And what the hey, have a few more.
