The Metropolitan Planning Council (MPC) has a competition underway seeking to enliven Union Station's public spaces. That temporary intrusion hopes to spur discussion for ways of taking better care and ownership of our major train hub, but doesn't deal with the station's many closed-off spaces. And so MPC takes us on a photo tour of forlorn components of a once-great civic monument. The Women's Lounge and former restaurant spaces are especially awesome and shamefully disregarded.
