Haberdasher Square Lofts was one of the early residential loft conversions in the West Loop. The 100-year-old factory building doesn't sprout balconies like many successive conversions nearby, but you might still wish to secure the building's marquee unit, given the funds. Why? That's easy: the two-floor space combines three units, covers 5,500 square feet and has 100 feet of continuous windows along the east and north walls. Dennis Rodkin drives home the case for this unusual $1.625M dwelling. [Chicago Mag, listing, Haberdasher Square coverage]
