MCM Standout by Architect Arthur Dennis Stevens Asks $799K

Listing in June is this Midcentury Modern four-bed on nearly an acre of Prairie landscape. Built in 1958 by one-time Frank Lloyd Wright apprentice Arthur Dennis Stevens, known for bold designs in Chicago's 'burbs and around the country (like his Riverwoods masterpiece), the 2,100 square-foot "block & beam" house is in tip top shape from its graceful overhangs to its studly living room and kitchen. There's also radiant ceiling and floor heating, numerous custom built-ins, and glass walls. A patio wraps the house and dissolves into a "Botanic Garden" setting. The tipster who drew us to the listing adds that most of the matching furniture has sold at auction, but there are still original pieces that can be rolled into the home's purchase. The ask: $799K.
