Forget condos, River North is filling in with hotel rooms. At 403 N Wabash, the site of a doomed 50-unit condo plan, Waterton Associates and RSL Building Corp are swooping in to build a 222-room hotel at the behest of Hyatt, reports Crain's. It'll belong to the new Hyatt House brand of extended-stay luxury hotels and will sit atop a 424-car parking garage that serves the River Plaza condos, should it obtain approvals (cozied up to River Plaza and Trump, at right).
