Top 10 in Snobbery

New, 16 comments

If Travel + Leisure mag says it, it must be true: Chicago is the 7th snobbiest city in America. Putting a bunch of questions to survey respondents designed to measure cultural, technological, culinary, and fashion superiority, Travel + Leisure claims to have established the 20 most snobbish major cities. Apparently our "highfalutin" town was done in by the theater scene and a pervasive pride in architecture. Other cities placed high on different considerations. At least our people initiate hellos with greater frequency than, say, Miami residents. Basically, if you're cool and smart the general population is wary of you. Sounds like a win to us!
