Eater Chicago isn't entwined in Hotels Week, but luckily for us they've embarked on a one-timer mapping the best in hotel dining. The 18 picks comprise a necessary core for the city's burgeoning hotel restaurant scene (see recent addition Beatrix and the revamped Pump Room, among others). In terms of decor you'll find some approachable options, but rustic environs and casual attire doesn't equate to affordability: mostly spots are rather pricey. But hey, you go to hotel restaurants to be wowed and spoiled. [Eater Chicago, photo: Facebook]
