"Developers who live and die by their own investments would/could never touch this because it has no basis in reality. At a land price of even $50k per door, the $400k+ per unit is rarified air for the City's best neighborhoods. And this one is terrible. What this is is fraud in the most simple sense and the taxpayers of Chicago are on the hook for it. I build a spectacular amount per year and am set for life. I can and will leave Chicago when Illinois implodes. FYI, it could be built for $200k per unit with a market value 25% greater." —Anon [Phase Two of Park Boulevard Readies Mixed-Income Building]
