Bridgeport Mansion w/ Bonkers Pool House Re-Lists for $1.5M

New, 14 comments

With bungalows lapping at its shores, this island of opulent amenity is an especially loud presence in toned-down Bridgeport. It's not the only beefy customer in the neighborhood, but its 8,400 square feet, $1.5M price tag, and, particularly, its attached pool house must help with visiting Sox fans' illusions of suburbia. We wrote about this place once before, more than two years ago, and it exited the market in October 2011. The clumsy palace has reemerged, putting not only its outrageous pool on display, but an order of lesser amenities like a billiards room, theater, double-height living room w/ grand piano, exercise room, and a pair of chef's kitchens (let's face it, cooking with your partner can be a headache). The home also sports a dozen different floorings and a 3-car garage. Dig in!
