CHICAGO—The April Eater Chicago Heatmap came out this week, with three new restaurants (Earth + Ocean, Takito Kitchen, and Rickshaw Republic) making the list. The Heatmap is the definitive guide of the hottest restaurants around town.

LAKEVIEW—There's two vintage video game bars in town, but there's about to be pinball too. Headquarters Beercade is giving the boot to neighboring Uncle Fatty's Rum Resort next month in order to expand into pinball. Craft beer and flippers will be together at last.

NEAR WEST SIDE—Cobra Lounge, known for raucus punk shows and late nights, is expanding with a new concept. They're about to start buildout on a brewery, restaurant, and bar next door, with a mystery partner in tow.
