"The elderly, poor, and recent immigrants who do all the cooking, cleaning, and service jobs in the city have to live somewhere. And it doesn't make much sense to push them into far-flung neighborhoods or suburbs with no transit options or social services. Is the solution really out of sight out of mind with all of society's undesirables? That's a pretty ugly thought. Hopefully Uptown remains one of the last true progressive neighborhoods in city filled with progressives in name only, but I have a feeling money will win out." —Anon [Development Update: Flats Chicago]
