An international design competition is underway to plot the look and layout of Chicago's future Bus Rapid Transit systems, particularly the lines that may come to Ashland and Western. Sponsored by the Chicago Architecture Foundation, alongside CDOT and the CTA, NEXT STOP hopes to conjure up meaningful input for whatever is build beyond the prioritized and already rendered Central Loop BRT (at right). The most anyone can expect is that the winning design, chosen in June, will be taken into real consideration— that's all a CTA spokesperson would allow when speaking with DNAinfo's Chloe Rile. Chicagoans: don't let a foreigner steal our thunder... submit! [BRT Chicago via DNAinfo, previously]
