Tribune Rocks

A few years ago, the Chicago Architecture Blog catalogued all 149 historical "rocks" embedded in the exterior walls of the Tribune Tower. Responding to a reader request, CAB toted them out for all to see in a post today. The photo documentation might not be up to date, but it's at least very close. The bits of old buildings represent everything from an old prison in Georgia to England's House of Commons. If you never took the chance to tour these relics, it doesn't get any more user-friendly than this. [CAB]
