Cloud Bound: Summit On Lake Half-Way to Topping Out

New, 16 comments

Nearly seven months after ground first broke on Summit on Lake, we're back at 73 East Lake for a much needed round of new pics. Since then, the 42-story apartment tower, shoehorned between two vintage buildings, has shot to a height of 26 floors. The $116M building, designed by SCB and piloted by M&R Development, is poised to add a total of 332 new units (and 178 parking spaces) to an already crowded rental market. It will feature luxury amenity space on the 9th and 10th floors, a fitness center, rooftop deck, along with primo views of Lake Michigan and Millennium Park. Unit distribution ranges from studios and convertibles to two-beds. Initial occupancies are expected in April 2014. Enjoy the shots!
