Should the forlorn Chicago Spire property find a workable development prescription, whoever lives in this 54th-floor Parkshore condo will have yet another tower (or set of towers) to gaze at. It's almost cooler being able to peer into The Spire's elegant grave. Alright then, to the listing! The 1,600-square-foot condo may well be an "entertainer's dream" with its built-in bar, lake and city views from every room, bowed-out windows, and open kitchen. But that grand piano is integral to any socialite's vision, so the buyer better produce. Other highlights include hardwood floors, master suite w/ walk-in closet, balcony, and building amenities such as tennis courts and rooftop pool. All that accounted for, the initial asking price of $929K was probably a reach for a moderately-sized two-bed. Hence, the stumble to $754K.
