Lower West Side Delicacy Gropes for the Right Asking Price

A "classic" stone row home in ever-so-classic Tri-Taylor has been on the market since April 2012 after previously attempting a sale in 2009. The 2,100-square-foot 4/3.5 home has great curb appeal and is presentable enough within, boasting a total renovation. You don't get much of a sense for age but the place is undeniably comfortable with new skylights, hardwood floors, a grand fireplace, high ceilings and windows, marble master bathroom, landscaped front yard, rear patio, and a BONUS garden apartment. All of that might earn you a mil or more in Lincoln Park, but only counts for about $350K in these parts (or, for that matter, almost anywhere west of Western). Originally seeking $500K, the bulk of the chop came in the three years between listings. Someone hasn't quite cracked those market trends.
