"I talked to these homeowners during the process. I wondered why they bought a house you couldn't live in. The house had a ton of work to be done. All of the mechanicals were replaced, new gutters, and a lot of tuckpointing as well as restoring the woodwork. When they bought it, it had no kitchen, no bathrooms and a lot of the windows were out. They told me that they had to have the woodwork specially milled because it is no longer made. I love what they have done. The house is a jewel in the community. It looks like the restored it while keeping all of the character. Glad they did it." —ssarchitect [Odd South Shore Home Built With Roaring '20s Lavishness]
