Madewell Nears Opening; Zoning Amendment on Cans Sports Bar

GOLD COAST - Just a few months ago it was Marmot that replaced Aldo. And in about a month from now, Madewell's barricade will come down making the wave of retail development on the block of Rush between Walton and Oak complete.

WICKER PARK - Red Square Spa has softly opened and been reveling in the storm of accolades and good press, yet only recently fleshed out their spa menu. Here are some eccentric highlights.

GOLD COAST - Lincoln Avenue legend for vintage and Racked 38 Member, Lulu's at the Belle Kay has decided it's time to open a second shop. With a focus on vintage jewelry from the from the 1920's through the 1980's, as well as a well edited collection of contemporary designer baubles, the shop is slated to open on March 5.

BUCKTOWN - When we established that Bucktown's "best" sports bar Cans was closing, hearts were broken. And it didn't take long for the final nail in the coffin--just last weekend, the bar closed and a zoning amendment notice went up on the exterior of the building.
