Here's a sketch of what that 10-unit building at 1809 W Chicago may look like. We've given the parcel at Chicago & Wood some attention because it's almost directly opposite the old AAA site where a 39-unit mixed-use development is likely. Together, these residential build-outs promise to soften a spotty stretch of avenue that can stop pedestrians from connecting lively commercial areas to the east and west. A tipster points to Db Development, the same people behind a 9-unit building under construction at Chicago & Leavitt and smaller modern infill around East Village and West Town. Quality stuff, for the most part. The Chicago & Wood sketch corresponds to the work permit sighting in January. [Db Development, previously]
