Taking a gathering storm of 1970s furnishings to its logical (or at least satisfying...) conclusion is this meditation on period decor: a hybridized circuit board/Pac-Man bathroom wallpaper. The patterning is probably more improvisational than were giving it credit for, but an accompanying stand of Namco arcade games sure as hell wouldn't hurt the space. In our experience, the 1970s are well represented at 1555 N Astor in several showy units available for between $835K and $4.45M. The building's upper crust is a full-floor marble penthouse on the 40th floor, so today's 2,500-square-foot three-bed taking up one-third of the 22nd floor is priced within reason at $1.35M. Whatcha gonna do, just sit there?
