After all these years, City Council may finally do what most people thought had been done— officially naming the intersection of Milwaukee, Ashland, and Division "Polish Triangle". If everyone already uses the name, why bother with bureaucracy? Aldermanic sponsors and officials claim a boon to tourism from newly-affluent Poland will be the main benefit, with recognition of Chicago's one-time Polish downtown an important gesture.
