'Place-Hacking' the City

Trespassing for kicks goes back to the dawn of civilization, but pairing it with great heights, advanced photography, and lending it the catchy name "place-hacking" takes the hobby to a new level. Bradley Garrett is at the vanguard of this informal club of thrill-seeking urban documenters, and the first to release a major publication on the subject. Titled Explore Everything: Place-Hacking the City, the book's Chicago chapter has Garrett opting for the skies because of the Chicagoan's penchant for crime-thwarting.
