The Curbed Cup, Curbed Chicago's annual Neighborhood of the Year tournament, continues today with the second semifinal. The thriving contenders are presented below. Vote now, as the poll closes in 24 hours.
East Village and Hyde Park did the deed and upended buzzier nabes in Pilsen and River North, respectively. Hyde Park continues to affirm its status as the South Side's commercial and cultural hub, and Hyde Parkers probably don't much care about North Sider perceptions. But here we are, dragging them into the limelight. Remember, dearest readers, to vote on the year's happenings and degree of change and not just for your favorite place to frolic.
