LP Manse Makes for Biggest Single-Family Sale in Five Years

What joined the market as one of the priciest single-family home listings in the city has exited as the top single-family sale in five years. The reserved contemporary mansion with 11,000 square feet and an extra side lot had sought $10M beginning last January (conveniently timed for Curbed's Whale Week) and closed yesterday for $9.035M. Ever-so-sleepy interiors are buttressed by major amenities— namely, the home theater, chef's kitchen, and garage-top basketball court. Here's at least one buyer who could've vied for MJ's Highland Park compound, but why choose such a remove when you can get your sports in Lincoln Park and enough baths (6) to survive?
