In another sign that Divvy bike share is outperforming the CTA (thanks, Ventra), the explosively popular system will grow to 475 stations (and possibly 550) next year. The city has scored one $3M grant and applied for another permitting up to 150 new stations— the four-month-old network already has 300, with another 100 in the pipeline. The added stations would push service into Chicago's border neighborhoods as well as Evanston and Oak Park, making ours the largest bike share system in North America.
