Development Update: West Loop

The Chicago Architecture Blog (CAB) conjured up a set of elevations and floor plates for a proposed 31-story, 220-unit rental tower at 725 W Randolph. The site has been targeted for development by parking maestro Jesse Levine since January, but an early proposal put forth just 97 units and 16 stories; numbers that quickly ballooned to 190 and 31, respectively. CAB reminds that the new plan's dramatic upscaling is in keeping with the city's invitation for a wall of towers along the highway's western edge. Want to know more? Ald.
